What did you learn during the ball activities today? How important is it to listen to those around you and the ideas they have?

Anonymous said... That you have to give everybodies opinion a chance. If you try different ways of doing things you can get it done a lot faster than normal.
The ball activity showed us that sometimes we have to change or comprimise in order to do a better job. It is a lot easier when you can communicate effectively.
I learned it took comunication and a lot of brain power to do the activaty. We tryed severel ways and finally got a good idea. It was a lot of fun and every one enjoyed this. By Ben Smith
I learned that it was important to listen to others to see what their ideas were. In a group every one needs to be inculded. Such as, in this activity everyone must be inculded to finish the activity. Ciara Davis
Evan Ramsey The ball activity showed us that we need to communicate to get the task at hand done. We got the task done alot quicker when we settled down and started to communicate.
It is very important to listen to what others have to say. During the ball activity we had to throw the ball to another person and memorise the order in which the people threw the ball. We also were working together to see what ways we could think of to improve our speed and communication.

Just grab some balls, get in a group, and you've got yourself a recipe for an activity involving bending rules, ideas, and such. How can you go wrong?

It was easier after we where told that we didn't have to stay in a circle. And pass the in the same order.
