What do we have in common?

Many times leaders encounter team members that are very different from them. Discuss how you, as a leader, may work to overcome these differences.

To overcome these differences you can find setain things that you have in common, or you can work around these differences.

You find the qualities that you have alike and not discuss the ones that aren't at all familar with the other people or person.

If someone in your group is very different from you, you can talk to them to find out more about them and what they are good at. If you can just not get along with thid person then you still need to respect them. If you respect them then they will probably respect you.

I would find the similarities that we have in common and try not to bring our differences. Doing this would help us get the job done. Ciara Davis

I would find out what both of us have in common first. Differences in a person make them who they are. When you are working with a person that is different from you, you use those differences to help make the project different and unique. Meagan Linger

Just because you are different doesn't mean you are weaker--or stronger--than anyone else. Combining these differences and similarities to make use of each other's strengths--and to avoid the weaknesses--can make that team an unstoppable force.
